Aug, 22th 2011 - Pre-production of ALBUM 2 has started

Album 2 is in the make. Just started preproduction. We're heading to the studio in Q2/2012.

April, 25th 2010 - Full album on choreography by AIKE RAES

No Angry Young Man's latest album will be visualised by 10 dancers in choreography by AIKE RAES. The event is scheduled on the 14, 15 and 16th of may in the middle of a forest near Leuven! The band will play the album live as sextet. A unique event for both music and dance-lovers. Don't miss it and order your tickets now !

November, 1st 2009 - Clip Generation failure online

The clip for the single "Generation Failure" has been finished! First, huge thanks to Cédric Goessaert en co who delivered a very nice clip!! A lot of thanks as well though to 30 CC, Schouwburg Leuven and BLOSO for letting them use their nice locations; 2GO for the catering and Dexia for the warm sponsoring!

No Angry Young Man's bookings will be handled by Backline agency. We have made a 3 year agreement and look forward to working together!

August, 24th 2009 - Sextet concerts

This week, No Angry Young Man will play 2 exceptional concerts in a sextet formation. For these concerts also percussion, oboe & clarinet will be present in the band, tree of the main instruments that created the warm sound on the new album that was released earlier this year.

July, 5th 2009 - Review of the album by Mazz Musikas (only in Dutch)

Ze zijn tegenwoordig dun bezaaid, de platenzaken die nog een hart hebben voor goeie muziek. In Leuven hebben we er gelukkig nog ééntje in de Parijsstraat. In platenzaak Sax zijn ze gespecialiseerd in wereld- en rootsmuziek in de brede zin van het woord: blues, jazz, klassiek, 50's, 60's, 70's, country, folk, de betere pop/rock, wereldmuziek uit alle hoeken van deze planeet..., je komt het er allemaal tegen.

(...) Onze vriend van Sax heeft goede oren aan zijn hoofd. Na een eerste beluistering ben ik ook helemaal gewonnen voor dit verrukkelijke plaatje boordevol akoestische folky pop met af en toe een retro jazzy tintje. De muziek klinkt heel coherent en is uiterst radiovriendelijk. Ik kan de radiojongens van harte het door piano en cello aangedreven Sister Cute, het zeer Brits klinkende, folkpoppy It Takes Two, het vrolijke retro jazzy Wine And Candles en het eveneens poppy, retro jazz klinkende Rosie (ik hoor flarden Randy Newman en Alan Price) aanbevelen. Of waarom niet Generation Failure, opgesmukt met viool, hobo en klarinet, de akoestische folkpop van Part Of My Youth of de rustige klassiek getinte afsluiter Shake On. Hier is geen half werk afgeleverd. Alle songs zijn van eigen makelij, de cd zit in een mooi klaphoesje en hieraan verleenden niemand minder dan Bai Kamara Jr. (Vaya con Dios, Youssou N'Dour... productie en gastmuzikant), Philip Masure (Laïs, Ambrozijn, Urban Trad... opnames en gastmuzikant) en Marc Francois (Novastar, Ozark Henry... mixing) hun medewerking. Af en toe neemt de cello de bovenhand en komt de leadgitaar op het tweede plan. Voeg daarbij de meer dan voortreffelijke pianopartijen en de prachtige driestemmige zang en we hebben met een prachtplaatje te maken. (...)
